F.A.Q.’s

Q. My child is riding without training wheels, but is still a little unstable on the bike.  Is he/she a good candidate for this camp?
A.  No.  Our “Intro to Mountain Biking” program is geared towards kids that are fully comfortable on 2 wheels and ready to take it off the pavement

Q. Is Vermont Mountain Bike Camps for boys and girls?
A.  Yes!  We welcome both boys and girls to attend our programs.

Q. Where does camp take place?
A.  Our Cricket Hill camp meets at the trail access on Cricket Hill Road (Just West of Lamoille Union High School off rte. 15)

Q. What happens in the event of foul weather?
A.  We will make every attempt to not cancel a camp day.  However, in the event that Mother Nature just won’t cooperate, we will try to reschedule. We do not offer refunds for cancelled days…sorry.

Q. Are meals provided?
A.  No.  Please send your child to camp with a healthy lunch and plenty of snacks. Aside from a mid-day lunch break, we take several water/snack breaks throughout the day. Please limit the junk food and start your child off with a good breakfast each day before camp!

Q. What if my child becomes sick or injured?
A.  Any type of outdoor activity involves certain risks and mountain biking is no exception.  Please rest assured that our staff is First Aid/CPR certified and we are never too far off the beaten path or out of cell range. We are stocked with an assortment of first aid supplies and plenty of ice!
